Since being founded in 2000, we have created sustainable change for hundreds of thousands of children, helping them and their families access an education, protect their rights and economically empower themselves in their homes and communities.
To date, we have collaborated with 107 partners across 15 countries in Africa, running programmes in over 2,100 communities. Cumulatively, we have reached over:
children and young people.
parents, guardians and community volunteers.
Peter, who is from Mwanza, Tanzania, is a passionate advocate for the rights of children living on the streets, having been there himself when he was 12. With the support of our Street Work Programme, he reconnected with his family, returned to school and is using his experience to help other children “to know their rights and go back to their families”.
OUR DATA DASHBOARDS
Using our brand new cutting-edge data dashboards, you can explore our reach for yourselves.
Not only do these dashboards show our reach, but they are advancing how we monitor, evaluate and improve our programmes using data.
Both are live and interactive, enabling us to:
TRACK OUR PROGRESS & TACKLE CHALLENGES
ENHANCE OUR DECISION-MAKING
DEMONSTRATE THE IMPACT OF YOUR SUPPORT

We are so grateful to Qlik.org for their time, passion and technology in bringing our data to life. In particular, thank you to Tyler Waterfall who is the App Developer at Qlik who has worked alongside our Programmes team to develop both dashboards. He explains:
