Child Rights Clubs

The number of Child Rights Clubs we are currently working with through our Child Rights Programme, helping to identify and protect children who are at risk of emotional, sexual and physical abuse.

Child Headed Households

The number of households we are currently working with through our Child Headed Households Programme, helping to establish support networks and economic opportunities for children living alone.

Street Associations

The number of Street Associations we are currently working with through our Street Work Programme, helping groups of young people living on the streets to learn business and life skills.

Street Day Care Centres

The number of Street Day Care Centres we are currently working with through our Street Work Programme, helping children living on the streets to access counselling support, education, healthcare, food and hygiene.

Vocational Training Students

The number of young people we are currently training in vocational, finance and entrepreneurial skills through our Vocational Training Programme, helping them to set up and manage their own businesses.

VIP Groups

The number of savings and loans groups that are being trained and supported through our Village Investors Programme (VIP), helping parents and guardians to earn and save a regular and sustainable income.

Average Cost per Child £

The current average cost for a child to be supported by our programmes.

The number of children who are being supported by VIP groups that are currently in training, including those inside and outside of members’ households.

Parents & Guardians Trained

The number of parents and guardians currently being trained as part of our programmes (excluding the VIP) in areas such as business skills, children’s rights and parenting skills.

Community Volunteers

The number of community volunteers who are currently being trained through our programmes to facilitate and manage all day-to-day activities.

VIP Groups Members

The number of parents and guardians of vulnerable children who are members of VIP groups that are currently receiving training and support.

Total Children

The total number of children we are currently reaching through our programmes.

Total Adults

The total number of adults we are reaching with through our programmes, including VIP members, parents and guardians being trained and community volunteers.

  • are currently being trained and supported
  • have graduated from the programme and can operate independently of any support
  • were set up and trained by our former partners
  • are no longer functioning due to economic, environmental or practical reasons

How We Have Spent Our Money

The proportional breakdown of how much we are have spent on programmes we currently or have previously run.

Education

The total number of education projects, such as informal schools and school catch up clubs, we have established but no longer run.

Scholarship Students

The total number of students we have supported through scholarships to college and university.

Microfinance

The total number of microfinance projects, such as and micro-credit schemes and community banks, we have established but no longer run.

Economic Empowerment

The total number of economic empowerment projects, such as economic survival and animal husbandry skills training, we have established but no longer run.

Psychosocial Support

The total number of psychosocial projects, such as creative arts therapy and practical skills, we have established but no longer run.

Orphanages

The total number of orphanages we have previously supported.

HIV/AIDS Awareness

The total number of HIV/AIDS awareness projects, such as peer-to-peer education and prevention training, we have established but no longer run.

Parents & Guardians Trained

The number of parents and guardians who have been trained as part of our programmes (excluding the VIP).

VIP Group Members

The total number of parents, guardians and community volunteers who have been trained, or are being trained, through our VIP.
