We exist to support orphans and other vulnerable children living in extreme poverty in Southern and Eastern Africa. We work with local project partners to restore, protect, educate and equip these children sustainably.
what we do
Our team, our talented local project partners and our growing network of supporters, are working together to support and sustain young people in the following key ways:
We restore and care for children who are dealing with the trauma of orphanhood, mistreatment and abuse, and we reintegrate isolated children back into the community.
We work with communities to protect their children and keep them safe. We inform children, parents and teachers about child rights, so they can take steps to guard against neglect and abuse.
One of the greatest gifts you can give any child is an education. We give children who would otherwise have no access to education, a chance to learn.
WHERE WE WORK
Currently we are proud to be working with 26 project partners, in 222 communities in six countries, reaching almost 60,000 vulnerable children across Southern and Eastern Africa.
We are expanding our programmes to extend our reach. By 2020, we aim to support 150,000 children every single year.
We are proud of our approach to our projects, which we think is special. Find out why here >
